Australia's Top Swimmers Prepare for Budapest

Coverage Starts with Day 1 Heats on 9Now

The Nine Network and Swimming Australia have announced that the 2023 World Championship Trials will be televised live on 9Now. The event will feature Australia's top swimmers as they compete for a chance to represent their country at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The trials will be held at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre from April 18-23. Coverage on 9Now will begin with the day 1 heats on Tuesday, April 18, at 10:30 am AEST. The event will also be streamed live on the Nine Now app.

"We are excited to partner with Swimming Australia to bring the 2023 World Championship Trials to our viewers," said Michael Stephenson, Nine's Director of Sport. "This event will showcase the incredible talent of Australia's swimmers as they prepare for the World Championships and beyond."

"The Nine Network has a long history of supporting swimming in Australia, and we are confident that they will deliver a high-quality broadcast of this important event."

The 2023 World Championship Trials will be a key selection event for the Australian team that will compete at the World Championships in Budapest. The event will also provide an opportunity for swimmers to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
